Driver of Minivan Killed in A Crash With a Fedex Truck

The St. Petersburg Times reports the driver of a minivan was killed in a collision with a FedEx truck on October 4, 2010.

The deceased victim, 34-year-old Jason Alvarez of Tampa, was driving north on Anderson Road in his Dodge Caravan when he crossed over into the southbound lanes and crashed into the FedEx Truck at the intersection of Anderson Road and Crenshaw Street around 9 p.m.

Juan Rivera, the 46-year-old driver of the FedEx truck, was seriously injured and listed in critical condition at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Alvarez died from his injuries at the scene of the accident.
