4 Teens Hospitalized After Hit and Run Accident in Hudson

September 17, 2010 – Hudson, Fla. - A hit and run accident took place in Pasco County during Labor Day weekend which resulted in 4 teenagers being hospitalized for conditions ranging from stable to critical.

According to official reports from the Florida Highway Patrol, the 4 teenagers were riding on an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) when they rode into the path of a Ford Ranger pickup truck.

A spokesperson from FHP agency said the driver of the Ford truck hit the front of the ATV carrying the teenagers. The force of the impact caused all 4 teenagers to be thrown off the vehicle. The driver of the truck then left the scene of the crash, which is now being treated as a hit and run accident.

The teenagers were rushed to a local hospital where they are currently undergoing treatment for their injuries. Of the 4 teenagers, 1 remains in serious condition, 1 is in critical condition, and the other 2 are listed in stable condition.
